You Have to go to these sites and first play the utube
it is about SSD GABE a Military War Dog. The utube shows Gabe in Iraq with his military comrades overseas doing what Gabe does. It tells some of his story-Quite charming, Very Touching. Part of the War that is Never shown... Entire units made up of War Dogs and their Handlers. Unique bonds.
If you never thought about War Dogs Please Do. The bravery within these teams Amazes my mind, they go in places others can't. Well That too holds many stories... we support

Gabe started his duty to this great country in 2006 and has such an impact not only on his handlers life, but American Soldiers in general. From Ft Lewis, WA, to Ft Bliss, TX and from Ft Leonard Wood, MO to Ft Hood, TX. Gabe truly is a hero dog. While deployed to Iraq, he completed over 210 combat missions with 26 finds of explosives and weapons. He also visited wounded troops in combat hospitals and visited children in Elem schools. Gabe was selected as the American Kennel Club Heroic Military Working Dog in 2008 and was the runner up in the military category for the 2011 Hero Dog Award. Gabe retired in 2009 after a very distinguished career earning over 40 awards and coins of excellence for his work. What he does is a love for his country and the people of the United States. We continue to educate children on respect and staying in school and we hope to represent the Military Police is a very positive way for years to come.
